Bob Corritore played with the Sam Lay Blues Band reunion, part of a large lineup that included Gabriel Butterfield, Rod Hicks (Former bassist with Paul Butterfield, as well as Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder), Marshall Drew, Vince Scardina, Roy Moore, Mark Hutchison, Eric Hughes, Zack Pomerleau, and more. Sam Lay was reunited with Chris James, Patrick Rynn, and Bob Corritore, who all worked together in the Sam Lay Blues Band. 12/18/04: Appeared with Jessi Colter at the Dodge Theatre for Alice Cooper’s Christmas Pudding Show. Also on the bill were Glen Campbell, Ted Nugent, Damn Yankees, Rick Nelson and Robin Zander of Cheap Trick, Sinbad, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Alice Cooper, and more! Jessi and Bob did two songs as a duet on this show.
12/31/04: The TV special “Valley Blues” was re-aired at 8:00 pm and 11:00 pm. On this show Bob performed with Louisiana Red, Paris James, and the Chief. Also on the show were Sistah Blue and the Big Pete Pearson Blues Band. This special won two local Emmy awards earlier that year.

07/24/03: Appeared at the Rhythm Room with Paris James as an opener for the Robert Jr. Lockwood Live Recording Session. Robert Jr. performed solo electric 12 string guitar. The entire evening was recorded by the award winning Clarke Rigsby and became a Robert Jr. Lockwood album, “The Legend Live” on MC Records. Paris and Bob hope that some of the material from the opening set will serve as a start to their album project.

Thank you, I’ve been listening to your show, a true work of art in itself, since I came back to the valley in 2018. I am amazed at how I hear a completely different show each week and am exposed to so many blues artists I’ve never heard before. I finally nailed down where that signature Ahhhhhh comes from. Many artist use it but no one like Freddy King. Would you please suggest 3 or 4 of his albums to get started with.
